Generally I feel that anything over 10,000 searches
a month can be potentially lucrative - ie - lots of fish to potentially
get tempted by my bait (PPC Ad).
Combine a high number of monthly searches with
fierce bid competition for the top spot, and you can see that
Photography can be a lucrative category, even with lots
of competing bids.
There must be lots of profit to go around
if all those folks are happily bidding high for each click!
Maybe you are
thinking "why would I want to spend close to $2.00
for every click advertising on Overture?"
Because you need to go fishing

more money than by sticking to 5 cent bids and getting less traffic
on puny niche bid words.

potentially lucrative. Why not pick up a few bid words on other
Pay Per Click Search Engines like SearchFeed where at this writing
you can get in on the top 5 results for around 3 or 4 cents a
click for many busy bid words. Granted, you may not get as much
traffic as from Google or Yahoo, but those clicks are a bargain!
